Route: Yakutsk - Batagay — Verkhoyansk — Yakutsk

PROGRAM:

Day 1. Arrival at Yakutsk. Meeting in airport, transfer in a hotel, dinner. Rest.

Day 2. Early breakfast is in a hotel. Departure to airport, flight to v.Batagay on AN-24 airplane. Flight duration 1.5 hour. Transfer by 4 WD vehicle in Verkhoyansk (60 km ), the most cold city beyond the Polar Circle.

Accomodation in a hotel with all conveniences. Lunch in a local cafe. Visiting a museum.
Dinner in a Yakut family. Late evening, if weather allows, it is possible to see the northern lights.

Day 3. Acquaintance with the city: visiting a school, concert of ethnographic band, visit to the Mayor, receipt of certificate about the visit to Verkhoyansk, the most cold city of the world. Ice-fishing. Visiting the horse-breeding farm (Yakutian horses).

Day 4. In the morning — departure to v.Batagay, transfer by 4 WD vehicle. Flight on AN-24 airplane to Yakutsk. Arrival at evening at Yakutsk, accomodation in a hotel. Rest.

Day 5. Acquaintance with Yakutsk. Review program, seeing a Museum of Mammoth, Institute of Permafrost, Treasury of Yakutia.  Farewell dinner in a restaurant.

Day 6. Early breakfast in a hotel. Departure to the airport, flight from Yakutsk.
